RULES FOR WRITING YOUR SHORT STORY

RULES FOR WRITING YOUR SHORT STORY

RULES FOR WRITING YOUR SHORT STORY

Your story must be divided into three parts.

1.Begining
2.Middle (something happened , transition of the story)
3. The end  (the conclusion)
4. YOU HAVE TO USE, IN YOUR STORY, AT LEAST 10 WORDS FROM THE PROVERBS AND THE GIVING TREE LESSONS.

You must write a minimum of 10 pages with pictures in power point or a handmade book.

Your story must be written in past tense (she/he said/did/would/was/went/gone/were).

To help make writing your short story easier for you, we suggest you use the following structure:

Subject + verb (past)+complement, connector (and, however, but, so,….)
She ate a big hamburger however she was not satisfied,……. And she…….

1. Begin your story with :   Once upon a time there was…………….. or
Once there was.

2. In the middle of your story you can use these expressions.
-But time went by…………
-After that………
Days, months ,years later……..

3. You can conclude your story with one of these expressions :

and they  lived happily/ horribly  ever after.

And…………….were happy.
